Book Drive is in full swing!!
Drop sites for books are located at the following locations:
Schools/Community
Wilson Elementary
Ellis Elementary
Millville Elementary
Wellsville Elemementary
Sunrise Elementary
Providence Elementary
Heritage Elementary
Mountainside Elementary
White Pine Middle School
Logan High School
Rec Center
South Cache 8-9 Center
USU campus
TSC south door
Business bldg (NW entrance)
Edith Bowen Lab School
Ed bldg. (outside YETC)
Recipients of the books will be the English Language Center of Cache Valley, the Whittier Community Center, the Family Information and Research Center and other non-profi t organizations in the valley.
If you would like to participate, there are a number of ways we could use help...1) donate books to your closest drop site, 2) contact us to help deliver fliers, 3) get the word out to everyone you know, and 4) talk up the project!
Our goal is to collect at least 1,000 books and we're well on our way. Over the next two weeks, please help us to meet this goal by helping in the ways listed above.

The International Reading Association’s (IRA) more than 1,250 councils and affiliates bring outstanding professional development to literacy educators at the local, state/provincial, regional, and national levels. These organizations rely on IRA for leadership in professional, organizational, and membership issues. In turn, through council services, grants, and awards, IRA recognizes its councils and affiliates for achievement and excellence in service to the profession, for research, and for advocacy on behalf of teachers and literacy learners.

Book Drive!!
Spring Book Drive for the English Language Center, March 3rd to March 31st! Donate today to promote literacy in Cache Valley!!
The Cache Valley Reading Council and USU “Books for Hope” will be conducting a book drive to benefit the English Language Center of Cache Valley from March 3rd until March 31st.
We are accepting donations of books for all ages, infant to adult and would appreciate your generosity in promoting literacy in Cache Valley.
Book drop off locations are located at the following schools and donations will be accepted during school opening times:
